Maple Design

A distinct place
for two dimensions.

Maple Design is the 2D sprite creator in the Maple family, complementing its 3D, animation, conversion, and runtime roles.

Create for
a 2D purpose.

Design’s intended role is 2D sprite creation. It gives the Maple family a dedicated place for two-dimensional assets alongside its 3D modeling and animation applications.

A sprite-creation task has a different purpose from general-purpose 3D modeling. Design and Foundry therefore occupy distinct creative roles, rather than competing names for the same application.

This page does not announce a particular canvas toolset, brush engine, sprite-sheet workflow, palette system, animation feature set, or export format. Those details need verified product support before they can be promised.

A different asset.
A related destination.

The conceptual suite workflow distinguishes 2D creation from the 3D modeling role. A sprite can enter a creative process for its own purpose; it does not need to be treated as a 3D object first.

Engine provides the running-world foundation, while Morph is intended for supported external-asset conversion. Design’s role is creation rather than universal conversion or runtime simulation.

A released Design-to-Engine handoff, common format, or complete asset compatibility list is not announced here. The workflow page describes responsibilities without pretending every connection is finished.

A clear purpose
within the family.

Design belongs alongside Engine, Foundry, Soar, and Morph. Its distinct job helps the family cover more of the creative process while keeping the purpose of each application understandable.

No public Design download, price, licensing program, release date, or detailed supported-format list is announced on this site. It remains a product in development.
